I’m Tracy Hoang, and I share my love of Vietnamese cooking, food photography, and video through this space. Above all, I enjoy preparing Vietnamese dishes and presenting them in a beautiful, inviting way. I’m also passionate about travel and photography. They continually inspire my curiosity about traditional cooking techniques and the cultural stories behind each dish.
To share these experiences, I run both a YouTube channel and this dedicated recipe website. Viet Flavours is my YouTube channel, where you can watch dynamic cooking videos and observe each step of the process. Meanwhile, Vietnamese Food Recipes is my companion website. This is where I post those embedded videos alongside more in-depth blog guides to help you recreate every meal with ease.
Within these pages, you will discover comforting home-style classics, including Cá Kho Tộ (caramelized fish in a clay pot), Thịt Kho Tàu (braised pork and eggs), and Canh Chua Tôm (sweet and sour shrimp soup). Furthermore, you can explore traditional sweets such as Chè Ba Màu (three-colour dessert) as well as Chè Trôi Nước (glutinous rice balls in ginger syrup). New recipes are being added on a regular basis, so be sure to check back often or subscribe to my YouTube channel so you never miss a new dish.
For me, the entire journey is meaningful. It begins with selecting fresh ingredients, continues through the process of cooking and seasoning, and ends with styling the finished dish for the camera. I’m especially drawn to the Vietnamese expression ngon bằng mắt – a reminder that food can delight the eyes as well as the palate. Ultimately, I hope these recipes and videos encourage you to try something new, feel more confident in the kitchen, and share memorable meals with your loved ones.
